Yorozu Genkurou, wandering warrior, possesses a huge sword which makes him redoubtable to his enemies. While he crosses a dark forest, he suddenly sees the fall of what looks very much like a spaceship. Since, he is constantly being attacked by strange ninjas and ambitious fighters. Indeed, he will soon realize that his assailants are nothing else than aliens landed on Earth to find 3 artifacts made of Orichalcum, an alien substance with powerful mystical virtues. And one of the artifacts is the sword he wears. The hunt begins.

Into this arena steps Yoshimune, an old man who believes that it`s humans who should be number one in basketball. His plan is to collect the best team of pure humans there is, and attempt to win the Intergalactic League. With this aim in mind, one of Yoshimune`s scouts –- Cha-che –- approach a 14-year-old prodigy named Hideyoshi, and offers him the chance to play in the Intergalactic league. His absolute self-confidence is what Yoshimune wants to drive his team to the top; right to Gyuma!

Shinsetsu Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo is the continuation of the manga series Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo under a new title, starting in January, 2006 in Weekly Shonen Jump, Shueisha's main shonen magazine. Like its predecessor, the series was created by Yoshio Sawai and contains many of the same humor styles and zaniness as the original saga. The final chapter was published in the July 2, 2007 issue of Jump, bringing an end to the Bo-bobo saga.

In the near future, the education system has evolved into a military competition between youths over domination of others where the stakes are high : The winner takes all from the loser. Schools are now mobile buildings that host their students, which are able to summon weapons of varying power and shape to battle each other. Mabaram starts from the bottom in this system and won't let his school, Metro, go down without a fight. He will have to pair up with his peers to assimilate other schools to reach the tallest heights of the ranking.

During the ordeal Kazuto discovers that Narue is actually half alien herself and that her father is part of a galactic exploration team. Just thinking about a crime can make you guilty, and in this world there is no mercy for criminals. Detectives work in pairs -one Enforcer and one Inspector- with Enforcers delivering lethal justice, and Inspectors making sure their partners don't take things too far. The story follows an Enforcer Shinya Kōgami, who must solve and manage crimes in this dark future.
